Committee of American Mayors

From sanctuary cities to border towns, America’s mayors stand on the front lines of immigration enforcement. In this crisis committee, the nation’s most impactful and politically diverse city leaders convene behind closed doors as tensions escalate over ICE involvement within local jurisdictions. With public trust eroding, protests mounting, and federal pressure intensifying, mayors must decide whether to cooperate, resist, or redefine the relationship between local government and federal enforcement. Delegates will navigate legal gray areas, political backlash, and urgent humanitarian concerns where every decision can set national precedents and redefine the balance of power between the White House and City Hall.
