
IRC
A subsidiary of the American Whig-Cliosophic Society, the IRC is the premier student-run forum for global affairs at Princeton University. We run two Model UN conferences (PMUNC and PDI), oversee the competitive team (PMUNT), and host IR-related events throughout the year.
Executive Team

President
Ziyi Yan
Ziyi is a sophomore majoring in English, with minors in Humanistic Studies and Creative Writing. She is honored to serve as President of Princeton’s International Relations Council! Previously, Ziyi was Deputy Captain of the MUN team, Chargé D’Affaires of PMUNC, and Director General of PDI. Outside of IRC, Ziyi is head poetry editor for the Nassau Weekly and part of the organizing committee of the Liechtenstein Institute’s UN Veto Simulation. In her free time, Ziyi loves to watch movies and send 10-minute long voice memos to her friends.

Vice President
Nikhil Kuntipuram
Nikhil Kuntipuram is a member of the class of 2028 studying Public and International Affairs, with minors in Statistics and Machine Learning, and Computing, Society, and Policy. Now in his ninth year of Model UN, Nikhil also serves as the Secretary General of Princeton’s Model United Nations Conference (PMUNC) and is a member of the university’s competitive Model UN team. Outside of MUN, he’s a passionate jazz drummer and works as an event assistant at Richardson Auditorium. In his free time, Nikhil enjoys long walks around campus and late-night conversations about politics, sports, and anything else in between.

Secretary
Lily Noda
Lily is a sophomore majoring in Public and International Affairs with minors in Computer Science and History and the Practice of Diplomacy. She has been involved in IRC by serving as one of the secretariat members for the Princeton Model United Nations Conference (PMUNC) as well as the Princeton Diplomatic Invitational (PDI) staffer. Outside of IRC, she is involved in development economics research on campus, writes for the Princeton Political Review (PRR), and is an Outdoor Action (OA) orientation leader.

Treasurer
Nastasia Philip
Nastasia Philip is a first year planning on majoring in Public Policy (SPIA) with a minor in Chinese Language. She is from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Some of her interests include prison reform, migration, and food insecurity. Nastasia plans on becoming an international human rights attorney.

DEI Chair
Saibatou Kassim-Bah
Saibatou is a sophomore from Newark, New Jersey, and plans to major in Anthropology with a minor in Gender and Sexuality Studies.
As the DEI Chair of the IRC, she looks forward to bringing together diverse backgrounds and celebrating these communities.
Outside of IRC, she a part of KoKo Pops Dance Company, Black Arts Dance Company, and BodyHype Dance Company on campus. She also enjoys listening to music and hanging out with her friends.
