Secretary-General: Lael Laing​
​
Lael Laing is a sophomore planning to major in political theory at Princeton University. She is from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and previously served as the Chargée d’Affaires for PMUNC 2025. Outside of Model UN, Lael also serves as an editor for Telos, Princeton’s ethics magazine. In her free time, she loves music and watching movies. She is excited to welcome everyone to PDI 2026!

Chargée d'Affaires: Matthew Bassily

Matthew is a freshman from Monroe Township, NJ, studying Public & International Affairs with plans to minor in Finance, and he is excited to serve as the Chargé d’Affaires for the Princeton Diplomatic Invitational. Outside of PDI, Matthew is involved in Business Today, Princeton University Economic Development Organization, and the Julius Rabinowitz Center for Public Policy and Finance. When he’s not focused on academics, you can find him playing Clash Royale or baking!

USG of Logistics: Fiona Peterson
Fiona is a freshman planning to major in Chemical and Biological Engineering. She currently serves as the Captain of the Princeton Model UN Travel Team. Now in her fifth year of MUN, she is especially interested in the role of scientific development in the future of international relations. On campus, she's also a member of the Tap Cats, Princeton's tap dancing group, and an Outdoor Action leader.

Secretary-General: Maki Flauta​
Maki was raised in both the Philippines and Hong Kong, and is now a junior majoring in Public and International Affairs. An avid event planner and attender, she is also the Secretary of the Princeton International Relations Council, President of the Princeton Filipino Community, and an orientation leader with Outdoor Action. When not inside a conference room, she is usually hiking, trying to cook, and thinking about traveling. She has eaten at Kentucky Fried Chicken in Kentucky, and one day hopes to achieve her dream of dining at Texas Roadhouse—in Texas.​​

Chief of Staff: Annika Plunkett

Annika is excited to serve as Chief of Staff for PDI 2026. She is a sophomore from Virginia studying public policy. In addition to PDI, Annika also works as an EcoRep and holds positions at The Daily Princetonian and on the College Dems board. She loves learning languages, discussing the news, and climbing.

Chargée d'Affaires: Fopefoluwa Aduwo​

Fope is a freshman and an international student from Lagos, Nigeria, planning to major in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Materials Science and Engineering. Having lived in and visited many countries, Fope is passionate about fostering a sense of community and camaraderie between people from diverse backgrounds. Outside of Model UN, Fope loves to paint, bake and hang out with friends.

Director General: Eric Mohorea​
My name is Eric Mohorea and I am honored to be serving as the Crisis Director General for PDI 2026! I’m originally from Moldova and am majoring in Public & International Affairs and minoring in Computer Science. Outside of PDI, I am a member of the PMUNT team, recently served in the PMUNC secretariat, am an international student leader, and occasionally write for the Daily Prince.



USG of Media: Jon Dong
Jon is a freshman planning to study Computer Science and Portuguese. In high school, he served as the President of his Model UN club, winning awards at national conferences. Outside of Model UN, he enjoys running, traveling, learning languages, eating, and spending time with friends and family. He is beyond excited to work to make PDI the best conference it can be!

USG of Security: Kasch Marquardt
Kasch is a freshman in SPIA originally from across the nation in Sacramento, CA. While in High School, Kasch participated in Model UN for four years and served as co-founder and co-Secretary General of California MUNC. Kasch is highly passionate about cultural and diasporic studies, and makes maps in his free time. Aside from school, he enjoys cooking, studying with friends, and traveling. He can’t wait to get back into Model UN in college!

USG of Technology: Mano Kvaratskhelia ​​
Mano is a freshman in the Class of 2029 from Tbilisi, Georgia, and plans to major in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a minor in European Studies. As the USG of Technology, she is eager to manage technology and keep everything running smoothly. Beyond PDI, Mano is actively involved on campus as the treasurer of the Princeton Georgian Society, a sub-team leader in Engineers Without Borders, and an aspiring OA leader. In her free time, she loves reading, exploring new Asian foods, and jamming to pop-rock music, especially The Beatles!

IRC President: Ziyi Yan
Ziyi Yan is an English major with minors in Humanistic Studies and Creative Writing, and she is so excited to serve as oversight for PDI 2026! Ziyi currently serves as President of Princeton’s International Relations Council, and has previously been Deputy Captain of the MUN Team, Chargé D’Affaires at PMUNC, and Director General of PDI. Outside of IRC, she also edits for the Nassau Weekly, and she is currently working on a book of poetry. She is so excited to make PDI a great experience for staffers and delegates alike!

Oversight: Nikhil Kuntipuram
Nikhil Kuntipuram is a sophomore at Princeton University studying Public and International Affair, with minors in Statistics and Machine Learning and Computing, Society, and Policy. Now in his ninth year of Model UN, Nikhil also serves as the the Vice President of Princeton’s International Relations Council and is a member of the university’s competitive Model UN team. Outside of MUN, he’s a passionate jazz drummer and works as an event assistant at Richardson Auditorium. In his free time, Nikhil enjoys long walks around campus and late-night conversations about politics, sports, and anything else in between. He is excited to make PDI an incredible experience for you all!

Oversight: Alejandra
IRC President: Alejandra Ramos​
Alejandra Ramos is a junior at Princeton University, majoring in Politics with minors in Translation and Intercultural Communication, Latin American Studies, Spanish, and a certificate in the Teacher Preparation Program. She has previously served as a co-chair and chargé d'affaires for PMUNC, was the DEI chair for the International Relations Council, and currently serves as the President. Alejandra is the Executive Director of El Centro and is a Community Engagement Fellow with Princeton’s Pace Center. She has organized youth enrichment programs, led civic reflection circles, and developed resources to strengthen campus-community partnerships. You can find her at the weekly farmers' market of which she is the president, creating oddly specific playlists (rumor has it she's on #1723), or hitting the wave.
