TOPIC A - The Implications of Artificial Intelligence for Nuclear Safety, Security, and Safeguards

TOPIC B - Safeguards and Nonproliferation in the Context of Rising Tensions Between Israel and Iran

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is the world’s central intergovernmental forum for scientific and technical cooperation on the peaceful uses of nuclear energy. It works to promote nuclear safety and security, verify that nuclear materials are not diverted for weapons purposes, and support member states in applying nuclear science to fields like medicine, agriculture, and energy. As the UN’s nuclear watchdog, the IAEA plays a vital role in upholding nonproliferation commitments under the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).

This organization is open to all Princeton University students interested in supporting our organization’s mission, regardless of identity, such as race, sex, ethnicity, national origin, or other protected characteristics.
