As the cornerstone institution of global macroeconomic stability, the International Monetary Fund plays a critical role in maintaining the financial equilibrium of the international system. This committee will simulate high-level economic policy negotiations, crisis response strategies, and reform efforts aimed at safeguarding economic stability and growth. Delegates will be expected to demonstrate a strong understanding of international economics, monetary policy, and the unique fiscal challenges faced by both advanced and developing economies. Active engagement, data-driven debate, and creative policy design will be essential as delegates work to address pressing financial challenges and propose actionable global solutions.

Arjun Singh is a senior in the ORFE department with a minor in Entrepreneurship. He is from Warren, New Jersey and is involved in the Club Tennis team and the Tiger Sustainable Investment Group on campus. In high school, Arjun was an active MUN member and has helped run PMUNC every year of college. Arjun is passionate about helping students find their voice, drive, and confidence through participating in the conference. Outside of campus, Arjun loves trying new restaurants and sports, or simply hanging out with friends.
